Trump criticizes Forbes following exclusion from richest Americans ranking
Former President Trump criticized Forbes magazine for excluding him once more from its yearly ranking of the richest Americans.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump described the magazine as “on the decline” and claimed it had lost its significance years ago.
He expressed his frustration, stating that Forbes barely left him out of their top 400 list, implying he deserves a higher position on what he considers an outdated and unreliable list.
Recently, Forbes shared that Trump did not make it to their 400 richest Americans list for the second time in the past three years. They mentioned his estimated net worth to be $2.6 billion, which is $300 million less than the entry threshold.
Trump commented, “For years, Forbes targeted me with ill-informed writers. Now, I’ve gained significant support within the Republican party and am leading by a considerable margin over others. Forbes’ opinion doesn’t matter!”
This news from Forbes coincides with Trump’s ongoing civil fraud trial in New York. The state’s Attorney General, Letitia James (D), has accused Trump of overvaluing his business assets and engaging in deceptive business practices.
