Trump calls New York judge a ‘Nut Job’, Is He Right?

Trump Unleashes Tirade Against NY Judge Over Ivanka’s Required Testimony

Former President Donald Trump has once again lashed out at the New York judge overseeing his civil fraud case. In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump didn’t mince words, labeling Judge Arthur Engoron as “Trump-hating” and “unhinged.” He went on to say, “I genuinely think the man is insane, or at the very least, consumed by an irrational animosity towards me. This case should have never seen the light of day and needs to be thrown out immediately.”

Earlier this week, Judge Engoron decreed that Ivanka Trump must appear to testify, even though she was initially removed as a defendant in the early stages of the legal proceedings. The ruling also stipulates that Trump and his two sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, are slated to testify next month.

Ivanka Trump’s legal representatives had contended that the prosecutors lacked the authority to issue her a subpoena. In response, Judge Engoron not only upheld his decision but also imposed a fine on Trump, citing it as a “first-time violation.”

Judge Engoron further warned, “Let there be no misunderstanding: any future breaches, whether deliberate or accidental, will result in much harsher consequences. These could range from heftier financial penalties to holding Donald Trump in contempt of court, and even potential jail time.”
