Has Crime In America Increased Under President Biden?

Former President Donald Trump has once more criticized the presiding judge in his civil fraud trial, describing him as “unhinged” and pleading that his children should be exempt from the scrutiny. Judge Arthur Engoron, who recently dismissed Ivanka Trump’s request to avoid testifying, announced that her deposition is deferred until next week to allow adequate time for questioning.

In an early morning post on Truth Social, Trump expressed vehement disapproval of the trial, spearheaded by New York State Attorney General Letitia James. He referred to it as a “sham,” fueled by what he termed as a prejudiced judicial system. Trump emphasized that key witness Michael Cohen recently admitted to providing false testimony. He argued that this admission should serve as grounds for dismissing the case.

Further, Trump defended the financial integrity of his organization, emphasizing that his financial statements are not inflated but are, in fact, conservative. He claimed that all debts to banks and insurance companies have been paid in full, negating any victimization except, in his view, to himself. He appealed for his children to be left out of the legal proceedings, calling Judge Engoron a “disgrace to the judiciary.”

Donald Trump Jr. was slated to testify, with Eric Trump expected to appear the following day. Trump did not let up on his critique of the judge, continuing his tirade against Engoron later the same morning. He accused the judge of political bias and claimed he was unjustly fined and refused even a single delay in the proceedings.

The former president also cited his partial victory in the Appeals Court, pointing out that Engoron refused to accept the court’s decision and has a history of being overturned. Trump concluded by reiterating that he feels victimized by a corrupt system, pointing to the fact that the state has won every motion so far. He called the trial an unprecedented “railroading” and questioned the credibility of the judicial system.
