Is Trump Good For America?
Biden Advocates for Unity Amidst Criticism of ‘MAGA Nonsense’
On the same day President Joe Biden encouraged Americans to unite, his campaign released a guide aimed at countering what it termed “crazy MAGA nonsense” during Thanksgiving family gatherings. During a call to NBC’s “Today” show, coinciding with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Biden emphasized the importance of unity and addressing national issues. He highlighted the nation’s substantial progress and its potential when working collaboratively. Biden expressed gratitude towards the nation, its first responders, and troops, especially those stationed abroad.
Biden’s message was one of unity, underscoring the shared identity as the world’s leading nation, despite differing political views. He stressed the need for decency and unity, reflecting what he believes to be the sentiments of the majority of Americans.
Contrastingly, the Biden campaign adopted a more direct approach on social media. The Biden-Harris HQ account published a guide designed to equip supporters with responses to possible pro-Trump arguments during Thanksgiving discussions. This guide boasted of achievements under Biden’s administration, including the creation of nearly 14 million jobs, with a significant portion in manufacturing. Additionally, it provided rebuttals to potential claims about the Trump administration’s economic performance, challenging the notion that the economy fared better under Trump by citing his record on job creation.
