Graham Calls Out Cheney For Trump Hatred

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) recently responded to former Representative Liz Cheney’s (R-Wyo.) stark warnings about the risks of a second Trump presidency. Cheney expressed concerns about America moving towards dictatorship if Trump were to win in 2024. In contrast, Graham, speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union,” advocated that President Biden’s re-election would pose a greater threat, citing issues like border security and international conflicts.

Graham, known for his support of Trump, criticized Biden’s leadership, particularly on border policy and foreign affairs, implying Trump handled these better during his term. He also commented on Cheney’s strong aversion to Trump.

Cheney, a vocal opponent of Trump, has been promoting her new book, “Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning,” in which she cautions against Trump’s re-election, viewing it as a danger to American democracy. She also expressed concerns about the Republican Party’s commitment to the Constitution and its response to the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack, in which she played a significant role in the investigating committee.

Despite losing her primary in August 2022 due to her criticism of Trump and her party, Cheney remains firm in her stance against Trump, vowing to ensure his defeat in 2024. She fears that Trump, if re-elected, might not peacefully transfer power at the end of his term, citing his past actions and lack of remorse.
