Barr Says Trump Has ‘Limited’ Verbal Skills, You Agree?
Iowa holds a pivotal role as it will be the first state to cast votes in the 2024 Republican primary. Back in 2016, Trump narrowly lost to Senator Ted Cruz in Iowa but went on to secure victories in New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada.
Digging deeper into the poll’s data, 41% of respondents have already made up their minds about their preferred candidate. Among Trump supporters, a substantial 63% are firmly committed, which is roughly double the percentage of Haley and DeSantis supporters who have finalized their choice.
The survey also revealed that 65% of probable caucus attendees are of the opinion that Trump could defeat President Joe Biden in a general election, in spite of the legal hurdles Trump is currently navigating. Conversely, 32% believe that Trump’s chances of besting Biden are slim to none.
Trump is entangled in four separate criminal cases, each carrying felony charges. These cases pertain to his role in the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack, his attempts to reverse the outcome of the 2020 election, accusations of improperly handling classified information, and his alleged involvement in making secret payments to an adult film actress.
While in Iowa this past Sunday, Trump expressed confidence about his prospects in the upcoming January 15 caucuses. He stated, “I go around saying of course we’re going to win Iowa,” despite his advisors cautioning him not to take anything for granted.
