Biden’s Justice Department Wants To Stop This Election Audit

With a lack of any help from the federal government, Republicans in Arizona are holding their own election audit. Joe Biden’s Department of Justice doesn’t like that idea very much.

The DOJ sent a letter to Arizona’s Senate in what looks to be an attempt to scare them into stopping the audit.

Penned by Pamela S. Karlan, who heads the DOJ’s civil rights division, the letter suggests “that the recount of nearly 2.1 million ballots in Maricopa County by a private contractor may not comply with federal law, which requires that ballots be securely maintained for 22 months following a federal election,” the Post noted.

Arizona officials have set up a Twitter account to allow the public to know what’s going on. They scoffed at the idea that this audit is in anyway illegal.

Over 7,000 people liked the tweet, which gives hope for more states to follow in their footsteps.

The Arizona Democratic Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs, expressed concerns that this would spread across the country. Wonder why she’s so scared?

“This is potentially precedent-setting,” she said. “We think they’re writing the playbook here to take this across the country.”

If this audit does set the precedent for states, we should start seeing more very soon. No wonder Joe Biden’s DOJ is trying to put a stop to this one. What are they trying to hide from us?
