California National Guard Gets Robbed in Suspicious Break-In

Riot gear was stolen from a National Guard armory in Southern California during an Election Day break-in, police said.

Thieves cut through a chain-link fence surrounding the armory, and stole the gear, but no weapons nor ammunition, according to Officer Eliseo Guerrero, a spokesman for the Ontario Police Department.
The stolen equipment included expandable batons, shields, face shields, body restraints and megaphones, Guerrero said. The gear was stored inside a large metal locker. READ MORE
