Is Harris For The People and Trump For Himself Like Democrats Claim?
Trump Ditches Fox Debate for Tele-Town Hall After Harris’ Refusal
Former President Trump has opted to skip a debate on Fox News, choosing instead to participate in a tele-town hall hosted by the network, with Sean Hannity as the anchor. This event is scheduled for early September in Pennsylvania, though additional details are pending. Trump expressed on Truth Social that he wasn’t surprised by Vice President Kamala Harris’s decision to avoid a debate on Fox News, attributing it to her difficulty in defending inconsistent positions.
The Harris campaign has committed to three debates for this election cycle: two presidential debates and one vice-presidential debate. The first presidential debate is set for September 10 on ABC News, with a potential second debate in October, depending on the results of the first.
Originally, Trump had agreed to participate in two additional debates, one on Fox News on September 4 and another on NBC News on September 25. However, these plans were revised following President Biden’s decision to withdraw from the race after a poor showing in a June debate, leading to changes in the debate schedule.
