Trump articulates his surprise over Swift’s political openness, pondering, “She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal,” acknowledging her successful crossover from country to pop. Although he concedes that Swift is likely not a fan of his, he admits to not being familiar with her music, stating, “Don’t know it well,” but recognizes her talent and describes her as “unusually beautiful.”
