Joe Rogan Insults Trump Again

Podcast hosts Joe Rogan and Theo Von are voicing sharp criticism of Donald Trump’s decision to launch military strikes against Iran, despite having supported him during the 2024 election.

Von appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, where the two discussed rising tensions and the broader history of U.S. involvement in the region. During the conversation, Von asked what Rogan believed would happen next. Rogan responded that he was uncertain, saying he was caught off guard by the escalation and struggled to understand how the situation had reached that point.

The discussion also turned to Israel’s military actions in Lebanon, which followed the initial joint strikes by the U.S. and Israel against Iran in late February. Von expressed frustration with the ongoing violence, questioning the justification for continued military action.

Rogan suggested that Israel’s stated goal was to combat terrorism, prompting skepticism from Von, who pushed back on that framing and criticized the broader approach to the conflict.

Israel’s operations in Lebanon began after retaliation from Hezbollah, and while strikes have targeted militants, they have also resulted in significant civilian casualties. According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, more than 1,300 people have been killed during the campaign.

Rogan has become increasingly critical of Trump’s policies since his return to office, particularly regarding foreign policy. He previously said the conflict in the Middle East has left some of Trump’s supporters feeling disappointed, especially given the president’s earlier emphasis on avoiding new wars and prioritizing an “America First” agenda.

Concerns about the conflict are not limited to commentators. Some Republican lawmakers have also warned about the risk of the situation turning into a prolonged military engagement, which could carry political consequences and echo past “forever wars.”

Trump, however, has maintained that the situation is nearing resolution. In a recent national address, he said the conflict was close to ending, while also warning that Iran should agree to peace terms quickly. Both the U.S. and Iran have proposed diplomatic solutions, though negotiations remain uncertain, with conflicting claims about potential ceasefire efforts.
