Haley Outpaces DeSantis in Recent New Hampshire Survey The survey indicates a significant momentum shift in the GOP primary, showing Nikki Haley’s rise and Ron DeSantis’ diminishing popularity.

After the initial two debates, Haley, the former U.N. ambassador, has seen a positive shift in her polling numbers and growing attention from donors. This change is noteworthy as the GOP candidates prepare to converge in New Hampshire shortly, with the former president arriving on Monday and numerous other candidates attending a state GOP event over the weekend.

Earlier in January, DeSantis was ahead of Trump in New Hampshire polling. This decline places the state’s primary race in a compelling position, potentially motivating Republicans wary of Trump. Haley appears to be benefiting the most from this shift, especially after her notable debate showings.

Despite the shifts, Trump continues to dominate the leader board. In the recent Suffolk/Globe/USA TODAY poll, no other contender reached double digits. Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie garnered 6 percent of the votes. Meanwhile, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott both secured about 4 percent. Trailing the list were former Vice President Mike Pence and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, each with just 1 percent support.
