Melania News Shocks Americans
Amazon is moving forward with a new documentary series centered on first lady Melania Trump, according to one of her senior advisers, just months after reports that the company’s feature-length documentary about her failed to meet financial expectations.
Marc Beckman announced the project during an interview Tuesday on Real America’s Voice, saying the new series will debut this fall.
According to Beckman, the docuseries will offer viewers a different perspective on Melania Trump than the earlier documentary, providing behind-the-scenes access to her life during the opening months of President Trump’s second administration.
“It’s a completely different look at her world,” Beckman said. “It gives the viewers a little bit of a peek into what happens right at the beginning of the new 47th presidential administration.”
The new project follows the release of Melania, a documentary film that debuted in January and chronicled the 20 days leading up to President Trump’s second inauguration.
The announcement comes after reports that Amazon’s documentary film underperformed financially, prompting the company to shift its focus to a serialized format that will continue highlighting the first lady and her role in the new administration.
