The Aftermath of This Pride Parade Is Hard to Stomach
You’d think that a large group of people drawing attention to themselves would want to make a good impression.
But that doesn’t seem to be the case with the latest ‘Pride Parade’ at Washington Square Park in New York City.
Clashes broke out between police and Pride Weekend partygoers Sunday evening in the area of New York City’s Washington Square Park, according to reports.
The crowd clashed with NYPD officers in the early evening after video showed a large police presence in the area, New York’s WPIX reported.

Even worse, parade attendees left their pride at home and left their trash all over the place. Here’s video of city staff cleaning up large amounts of litter the morning after.
Clashing with police? Leaving garbage all over the place? Maybe the city should fine the parade organizers or simply not permit them to gather like this in the future.
