Trump Accusing Who Of Leaking Sensitive Military Information?

President Donald Trump is accusing a historic preservation organization fighting his proposed White House ballroom project of exposing sensitive military information, escalating the dispute as his administration takes the case to the Supreme Court.

Trump directed his criticism at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the organization challenging the construction project in court. In a lengthy social media post, Trump accused members of the group of acting against the government and claimed they had revealed what he described as “top military secrets.”

Trump did not provide evidence that the organization released classified information. His comments instead focused on the group’s access to detailed information about the planned White House complex and its decision to continue pursuing the lawsuit.

According to Trump, senior military and Secret Service officials had provided the preservation group with detailed plans for the project. He argued that the organization should have understood the sensitive nature of the information before moving forward with its legal challenge.

The president has increasingly emphasized the security features planned for the new East Wing complex as his administration fights to keep construction moving.

The proposed project includes a large ballroom as well as an extensive security infrastructure beneath the facility. Trump has described the various components as part of one integrated complex designed to provide additional protection for the president, his family and other senior government officials.

One of the more unusual features Trump has highlighted is a rooftop “DronePort.” Renderings and descriptions of the project have also raised questions about the extent of the underground security facilities being built beneath the ballroom.

The administration’s argument about national security has become an important part of its legal battle over the project. Trump has maintained that stopping construction could interfere with security improvements that he considers necessary for the White House.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation has challenged the project on legal and historic-preservation grounds, while the Trump administration has argued that the organization should not be able to prevent the president from making changes to the White House complex.

The dispute has now reached the Supreme Court, putting the justices in the position of potentially deciding whether construction can continue while the broader legal fight plays out.

Trump’s accusation that the preservation group exposed military secrets adds another contentious issue to an already heated case.
