Trump Gets Great News On Saturday
President Donald Trump’s approval rating has reached its strongest level in nearly five months, according to a new RMG Research poll, despite continued political challenges facing his administration.
The survey found Trump’s net approval rating improved to negative 6 percent, marking the highest result recorded by the polling firm since late February and early March. The numbers suggest the president has regained some public support after several months of declining approval.
The improvement comes even as the administration continues to face criticism over several major issues. Polling shows many voters remain dissatisfied with Trump’s handling of the economy and inflation, which continue to rank among Americans’ top concerns. While his overall approval has ticked upward, confidence in his economic leadership remains significantly weaker than his overall job performance.
The latest results indicate that Trump’s standing has improved modestly despite ongoing political headwinds, though his approval rating remains below water overall.
Responding to the poll, White House officials highlighted what they described as the administration’s accomplishments, pointing to efforts to boost job creation, reduce inflation, improve housing affordability and advance the president’s broader domestic and international agenda.
