Trump Posts One More Jesus Image To Mock Media
President Donald Trump stirred fresh conversation online Wednesday after sharing another eye-catching image on Truth Social—this time depicting him being embraced by Jesus Christ.
Posting the image to his followers, Trump brushed off expected criticism with a defiant tone. “The Radical Left Lunatics might not like this, but I think it is quite nice!!!” he wrote, signaling he was unfazed by ongoing backlash.
The image, which appears to be AI-generated, shows Trump and Jesus with their eyes closed in a symbolic embrace, set against the backdrop of an American flag. It originally circulated on X, where the account that shared it suggested deeper spiritual meaning behind current global events.
The post comes just days after controversy erupted over a separate image Trump had shared, portraying himself in a Christ-like role helping a sick individual. That earlier post drew criticism—even from some conservative voices—who argued it crossed a line.
Among those speaking out was Riley Gaines, who questioned the intent behind the image and called for greater humility. Similarly, commentator Michael Knowles suggested that removing the post would be both politically and spiritually wise.
Trump later responded to the criticism, saying he believed the original image depicted him as a doctor rather than a religious figure. Following conversations with allies, the post was ultimately taken down.
One of those allies, House Speaker Mike Johnson, confirmed he personally spoke with Trump about the situation. According to Johnson, the president agreed the image was being interpreted differently than intended and chose to remove it.
Meanwhile, the broader conversation around faith and politics continued to unfold. The Knights of Columbus weighed in separately after Trump criticized Pope Leo XIV over his stance on foreign policy and calls for restraint in global conflicts.
Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly defended the pope, emphasizing that his remarks reflect longstanding Christian teachings centered on peace and dialogue. He urged observers to engage thoughtfully, regardless of political differences.
As debate continues, the episode highlights an ongoing tension between politics, faith, and online expression—especially as digital imagery and AI-generated content become more prominent in public discourse.
