Joe Rogan Insults Trump With Bad Language

Joe Rogan criticized President Donald Trump’s handling of the conflict with Iran, saying the military action could undermine conservative priorities by increasing government spending and moving the country deeper into another foreign conflict.

During a discussion Wednesday with British Parliament member Rupert Lowe, the popular podcaster questioned the costs of the war and argued that many conservatives did not support entering another international conflict. The conversation came after the two discussed government spending and Trump’s efforts to reduce funding for the U.S. Agency for International Development during his second term.

Lowe suggested that cutting certain taxpayer-funded programs was a step toward restoring government spending priorities. Rogan responded that those efforts could be overshadowed by the costs associated with the Iran conflict.

“For now, but I mean, we might’ve messed it up by going to Iran,” Rogan said during the discussion.

Trump has faced criticism over the economic impact of the conflict, with polling showing concerns among some Americans about whether the costs of the military action are justified. Trump announced Wednesday that an interim agreement with Iran was effectively finished, while also criticizing Iran’s leadership during remarks at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey.

“I don’t want to deal with them, but they’re scum,” Trump said while discussing Iran, accusing the country’s leaders of being aggressive and dangerous.

Rogan argued that many Americans oppose the war, saying that another major military engagement goes against the anti-war message that helped attract some voters to Trump’s campaign. He said one of Trump’s key promises was avoiding additional foreign conflicts and questioned whether the current approach aligns with that position.

Lowe agreed that government leaders should prioritize the interests of taxpayers and said military action should only be pursued when there is a clear benefit to the country.

Rogan, who supported Trump during the 2024 presidential election, has increasingly questioned some of the president’s decisions, particularly regarding Iran. Earlier in the year, he said he was uncertain whether the conflict was beneficial for the United States or whether there was a clear path forward.

The podcaster has also previously criticized some of Trump’s immigration policies, including large-scale enforcement operations.
