Trump Says Biden Is Incompetent and Has Ruined America, You Agree?

Emotional Testimony from Former Trump Organization Controller in Fraud Trial Jeffrey McConney, the former corporate controller of the Trump Organization, was visibly emotional during his testimony in the civil fraud trial against former President Trump, led by New York Attorney General Letitia James (D).

Testifying for the fourth day, McConney, who had overseen the company’s finances for over 35 years, broke down in tears when defense lawyer Jesus M. Suarez inquired about his departure from the organization. According to The Associated Press (AP), McConney expressed pride in his work but was overwhelmed by the numerous investigations and legal proceedings he had been involved in.

“I just wanted to relax and stop being accused of misrepresenting assets for the company that I loved working for. I’m sorry,” McConney stated, his voice trembling with emotion.

McConney, who had been with the Trump Organization since 1987, informed the court that he retired in February and is receiving a total of $500,000 in severance payments. His emotional testimony highlighted the personal toll of the ongoing legal challenges faced by the company.
