Trump Says Democrats Lie, Steal, and Cheat On Elections, Is He Right?

Investigation Underway Following Discovery of Maryanne Trump’s Body in Fifth Avenue Residence

Maryanne Trump Barry, the sister of former President Donald Trump, has passed away at age 86, according to a confirmation from the New York City Police Department to Fox News.

Barry, who served as a federal appellate judge until her retirement in April 2019, was reported by the New York Times to have died in her Manhattan home. Sources indicate she was found earlier today.

Despite ideological differences, particularly on public policy, former President Trump had once lauded his sister as a “highly respected judge.” However, he later downplayed secretly recorded audio by his niece, Mary Trump, in which Barry criticized him for having “no principles” and described him as “cruel.” Trump’s reaction to the recordings, revealed amidst a family memoir scandal, was dismissive, characterizing such daily revelations as inconsequential.

These internal family critiques emerged publicly around the time the White House commemorated Robert Trump, the president’s younger brother, with a private memorial service following his death in August 2020.

The contentious recordings were part of a broader family dispute highlighted by Mary Trump’s incendiary book, which included disparaging comments from Barry about the president’s adherence to his base and lack of principles, particularly in the context of his administration’s controversial immigration policies.

Maryanne Trump Barry had a distinguished legal trajectory, starting as a federal prosecutor and then appointed by President Ronald Reagan to the Federal District Court in New Jersey in 1983. President Bill Clinton later nominated her to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1999. She ceased hearing cases shortly after Donald Trump assumed the presidency in 2017, as reported by the New York Times.
