Woke Phrase of the Day: “Chest Milk”
The latest push by the Left involves getting healthcare workers to replace the term “breast milk” with “chest milk”… and “breastfeeding” with “chestfeeding.”
Here’s proof!
Here’s what the image says:
In an effort to be “trans-friendly,” a hospital is advising nurses to no longer use words such as “breastfeeding” and “breast milk.”
“Human milk” and “chest milk” are more acceptable terms for midwives to use.
Do you feel woke yet?
Seriously, though, this is all a bit silly, isn’t it? There are two biological sexes. Women have breasts, men don’t. Why can’t we just acknowledge this?
When I mentioned this story to my friend James L., he pointed out the absurdity of all this woke activism by saying: “I suppose an Adam’s Apple is now called ‘neck fruit’?”
It might sound ridiculous, but it’s really not that much different from using the term ‘chest milk’.
On a more positive note, the ‘chest milk’ terminology is currently only being deployed in Britain via a push from the NHS.
Although, given America’s obsession with political correctness, it probably won’t take long for ‘chest milk’ to cross the pond and make its way into U.S. hospitals.
