WOW: Fauci Squirms, Lies to Congress

Senator Rand Paul continues to be the strongest voice in Congress with the courage to call out the lies of Dr. Fauci.

Paul, a doctor by trade (ophthalmology), grills Fauci on the NIH funding “gain of function” research in a laboratory located in Wuhan, China.

As Paul hammers Fauci on his funding and support of “gain of function” research. Fauci became increasingly angry.

What is “gain of function”?

According to the NCBI website, gain-of-function (GOF) research involves experimentation that aims or is expected to (and/or, perhaps, actually does) increase the transmissibility and/or virulence of pathogens.

In other words, GOF is when scientists do research on viruses to see if they can make them stronger and/or more contagious.

Fauci keeps repeating to Paul that the NIH didn’t fund gain-of-function research in Wuhan, sticking to that same point. So Paul goes ahead and points out that Fauci supports gain-of-function research in 11 U.S. laboratories. (something Fauci clearly could not deny.)
