Love him or not, Rand Paul’s smackdowns of Dr. Fauci have been a pleasure to watch.
OK, pleasure is probably not the right word because people died because of Fauci’s actions and inactions.
It’s better to say that there’s some vindication in seeing Fauci squirm in than red-hot hearing seat.
And Rand Paul (R-KY) is getting more direct in his language
PAUL: “There will be responsibility for those who funded the lab, including yourself.”
Paul’s directness is a solid indicator that there’s fire behind the smoke – meaning, he probably knows more than he can share or prove at this time.
And Fauci knows it – you can hear it in his responses – he resents this, he resents that…make a sensible argument, will you Tony?
Prove that you did not fund the Wuhan lab, and you won’t have to keep ‘resenting’ stuff left and right.
