Dinesh D’Souza: Why It’s Time to Get Rid of the FBI

Those on the political left have a long history of fighting against law enforcement. What many people don’t know, though, is that leftists love law enforcement if law enforcement is on their side.

See, the reason that leftists call to defund police is because local police forces are more likely to employ officers that take the Constitution seriously and believe in the rule of law.

That’s less likely to be the case when you’re talking about law enforcement on the Federal level. After all, leftists love the FBI when the FBI spies on Trump and refuses to prosecute Hillary and situations like that.

Politicized law enforcement endangers lives and livelihoods, and that’s why Dinesh D’Souza has one very specific suggestion. He starts by explaining the problem when he writes,

For a long time, the FBI has stood as the admirable symbol of a police agency of government, implacably going after the bad guys and neutrally enforcing the laws. This is the FBI of the movie “The Untouchables,” in which special agent Eliot Ness leads his devoted crew of armed agents in a heroic battle against the forces of organized crime.

Well, forget about the Untouchables. Today’s FBI has quite obviously been corrupted from the top. This is a process that seems to have begun under President Barack Obama, endured during the President Donald Trump years, and has now reached its unfortunate nadir under President Joe Biden. It’s time for conservatives and Republicans to start thinking about getting rid of the FBI.

D’Souza then highlights how the FBI went after peaceful protesters at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 like they were domestic terrorists, while giving Antifa and BML protesters a pass.

D’Souza also mentioned how the FBI went after Rudy Giuliani, violating attorney-client privilege in the process, but hasn’t done a single thing to go after either Hunter Biden or New York Governor Andrew Cuomo even though Biden seems to have clearly violated the law by selling influence to foreign governments, and Cuomo appears to have quite clearly killed off a huge number of elderly folks in New York with his mishandling of the COVID-19 situation.

If that’s not bias on the FBI’s part, then nothing is.

So, D’Souza called for the only thing that rational people can call for in this situation. He writes,

Enough is enough! When justice no longer involves the neutral or equal application of the laws, it ceases to be justice. I realize, of course, that there will be no FBI reform under Biden. Therefore, I strongly urge the Republican Party to make the abolition of the FBI—shutting down the agency and then reconstructing it from the ground up—key provisions of its campaigns both in 2022 and 2024.

D’Souza’s right. If the Federal government is going to be involved in implementing real justice (and not the fake justice of “social justice warriors”), then the FBI needs to be completely gone, and a new, unbiased organization needs to be put into place.

Because, if this doesn’t happen, the FBI looks like it is going to mutate into a full-on, Soviet-style secret police, and you can kiss American freedoms goodbye if that happens.
