Pfizer and Moderna’s shares took deep dives when Sleepy Joe decided he wants to take their intellectual property and give it away. Vaccine makers were initially happy to not have any liability for their COVID shots. But today that frown is turned upside down.
The concept is to allow poor nations to develop vaccines using the intellectual property of vaccine makers like Moderna and Pfizer. It sounds noble but in practice it is deeply flawed and causing immediate damage.
Why would any company ever produce a vaccine for a pandemic again? AstraZeneca was vilified while offering them at cost and now needs to offer up its patent. Let’s hope the world never sees another pandemic
